Every single shoot. Especially TFCD's. You want to make sure you cover all of the W's:

Who (Who's participating)
What (What type of shots you plan to cover, the nature of the shoot. What the "client" gets in return for time - Be general)
Where (Where the shoot is taking place and the scheduled time block)
When (Obvious)
Why ( Explain in brief what the shoot is for, you can opt to say portfolio and potential non-monetary gain).

Make sure the mods are 18, if younger have a parent or guardian sign.
Oh yeah, purchase cheap scanner to hook up to your lappy to scan IDs.

Trust me...Cover Your End to 'T' and HAVE FUN!!!!!!

Happy Shooting!!!
